Overall Star Rating – 4.5/5

Overall Impression – When it comes to putting on a good show, One Fine Day Wedding Fair did itself proud. The Melbourne Showgrounds was an excellent choice due to its easy access, plenty of space and ample (and cheap) parking.

The entrance was beautifully presented and on a higher level to the show, which meant you could see all the way to the back. The Chambord on arrival was the perfect way to start the day. A VIP ticket saw brides into the VIP lounge sponsored by Chambord, where the ladies were treated to a gift bag valued at $100, front row seats to the fashion parade and canapés.

We’re not particularly fans of a snake-shaped stand layout, but this time around, we have to say it actually worked well. The aisles were nicely spaced, and the exhibitors put in a great deal of effort to ensure their stands looked on-trend and pristine.

We would have liked to see a few more cars at the One Fine Day Wedding Fair. There was only one car exhibitor (I’m sure the exhibitor wasn’t complaining), but a selection would have been nice to see. The fashion parade was on point with professional models wearing a range of beautiful gowns, the set up similar to that of Melbourne Fashion Week – very well done.

The food trucks and carts were a great addition to the show in the way of food and was situation towards the back with a great resting space after a long day.

Overall, One Fine Day Wedding Fair was a great show. We will be back next year to see what’s in store.
