Mornington Wedding Expo October 2023
The Mornington Wedding Expo October 2023 was an awesome day for future brides, grooms and vendors alike!
The expo was held at the Mornington Racecourse and thankfully turned out to be a beautiful day! It was a great location for couples and vendors to meet and chat who were local to the Mornington Peninsula area.
The flow of the expo layout was great and allowed me to see and meet everyone. I started outside which hosted some beautiful wedding cars, a café, food truck and cool room on wheels.
Inside, I was greeted by the Mornington Wedding Expo October 2023 Team and picked up a free Wedding & Bride Magazine, a tote bag and a few other goodies! I headed upstairs and made my way around, speaking with each vendor, grabbing business cards, entering into the competitions and finding a bunch of wedding inspiration!
The Mornington Wedding Expo October 2023 was hosted by Pauline Woolley, a local marriage celebrant, and more than seventy exhibitors. There were many competitions to enter on the day, special discounts for those attending, free photos from the photobooths and tasty snacks and lollies from many of the exhibitors!

Wedding Cars
Enzo from E & R Classics brought a beautiful limousine which had a navy blue interior and matching blue champagne – these little details are so awesome! Classic & Prestige Car Hire had a lovely classic car which is great for vintage aesthetics. The team from Caddyman and Cadillac Occasions brought two stunning Cadillacs and I was blown away by their size! The red Cadillac was by far my favourite and add the perfect pop of colour to your wedding photos.
Food and Catering
MilkBar Coffee had a delightful range of pastries on offer and amazing coffee – a must have for any wedding. Roast N Roll Catering were serving sliders and more from their awesome food truck, they can travel almost anywhere – a great option for outdoor weddings.
Inside, Grazing with Stella and Grazelnut both had grazing tables with delicious food on display! Grazing with Stella offers a range of Greek Inspired grazing tables and platters – so you just know that food will taste amazing! Grazelnut were handing out tasting cups with a selection of fruit, cheese, chocolate and other tasty snacks. They also had giftbags with a personalised cookie and mini chocolate which tasted amazing! And if you are looking for a mobile cool room to keep your drinks and food cool, look no further than Valley Cool.
Entertainment
A must have at all weddings and events! My personal favourite DJ was Brendan & Starbrina who are an acoustic duo and DJ. They are the cutest couple ever and recently got married – so they know all about planning! Not only are they totally in looove, but they’re super fun to work with! Check out our TikTok for a sample of their work. Our favourite magician Mike Mayer from Magical Moments Wedding Magic was in attendance to wow us with his magic, from tricky visual illusions to his famous fire wallet!
Photography & Photobooths
There were many photobooths at the Mornington Wedding Expo October 2023 that were stocked with fun props, offering free snaps to document the day. Little Pixel Box has the cutest wooden photobooth setup ever. Be sure to book in a professional wedding photographer for your special day, there were multiple quality photographers on the day including Koncept Media, Dreamscape Wedding Photography and 50mm Studios. Having someone photography your wedding day is a great way to document it and create memories to look back on.
Beauty
Let’s talk makeup and hair – having a professional to take care of these things can relieve a lot of pressure and stress on the day you get married. Chantelle Does Hair and Daniell Lewis Makeup were doing live demonstrations on the day. If you are looking for the perfect lipstick, go no further than Shades of You.
Décor & More
Custom signage, personalised bridal party gifts and acrylic table numbers are a very popular décor choice for weddings. Check out H-Rae & Co for a range of customised signage and other products.
Including pets in weddings is an increasingly popular trend and Wagging Tail Weddings has all your pet needs covered. Not only do they provide gorgeous outfits, but they take care of all the little things like transporting the dog home after the ceremony and taking them for a walk before they walk down the aisle.
Don’t forget about dance lessons – a choreographed first dance will amaze your guests and imagine those lifts and dips! Peninsula Wedding Dance and MarShere Dance Studios are the places to go to learn dances for your wedding and perfect your first dance.
Celebrants
A wedding ceremony is not complete without a marriage celebrant. Not only do they conduct the ceremony, but they help you out with all the legal stuff! Mornington Wedding Expo October 2023 host, Pauline Woolley and exhibitors Sharon Tierney and Katie B were all wonderful to speak to and would be awesome for anyone’s wedding day!
Wedding Attire
Sheer Perfection Bridal showcased many of their stunning bridal gowns at the expo. Mickey Blue had their famous blue mannequins dressed up in stunning suits. Norfords was also in attendance, another great suit company to check out.
Wedding Venues
We can’t forget the venues at the Mornington Wedding Expo October 2023. Stillwater at Crittenden, Friendly Garden Weddings and Sanctuary Inn on Westernport were just three of the many venue exhibitors in attendance. Stillwater at Crittenden is located in Red Hill is a stunning venue with a restaurant – perfect for a more relaxed reception! Friendly Garden Weddings, located in Langwarrin, is another great venue with beautiful grounds and a lake! Sanctuary Inn on Westernport has recently been renovated, with modern accommodation, restaurant, reception and wedding ceremony space all on one site – what more could you ask for!
