Overall Impression –

The Berwick Wedding Expo at The Old Cheese Factory is only in its second year, but for a young Expo event is very impressive!  It is lovely to see a local event featuring local vendors – and for those brides-to-be and their grooms who want to support local businesses on their wedding day, this was the perfect opportunity to find everything they need!

With stunning weather, the outdoor aspect to the expo set a bright and relaxed tone, and made it easy to navigate between vendors, both inside and out.  The Old Cheese Factory itself is an institution in the Casey area, and is well-versed in putting on events.  working closely with organisers, City of Casey, it ran smoothly and was an enjoyable day.

The vendors themselves were all eager to chat, which added a friendly air to the expo.  There were vendors from all sections of the industry, including Celebrants such as Ron Gallagher, Beauty Professionals, Photographers and wonderful boutique Food Trucks like Combi Capers.  Catering companies were also well represented, including the team from G’Day Chef.

The fashion parade was a nice touch to the day, as were the free bridal bags and the door competition.  We’ll definitely be back next year to support the local Casey wedding vendors and soak up the sun and friendly atmosphere.
